    Akito Desert suits

Ok, now I've found the right forum for these questions, (sorry mods!) what about these Akito desert suits? I'm not sure about the trousers as textile trousers make my ass look big! The Vara's got a big enough ass without me copying it! The jacket looks smart though, anyone got one?

I might lose my vanity and try the trousers though, but not matching ones, looks like a seventies safari suit,,,,, wait a minute,,, it is! Aaarrrgghh!

Ha ha! Daktari! I remember that from when I was a child!

I went in to our local stockists with SteveT yesterday, I quite like the jacket, £129 seems reasonable. I'm going for the lighter one as I've always had dark jackets and think the white one is more visible. I'm not sold on the trousers yet though, SteveT set fire to his with his down pipe of his @T!
I'd prefer pants that don't melt on the exhaust!

look at the frank thomas version... slightly dearer (around £140) but better made, better fabric and no silly poper studs that fall off!

I've a pair of the troosies, but they must have shrunk over the last winter as they don't fit me as well now.... Waterproof and cool when the liner comes out. For the money, fine.

Only thing i will say is Akito sizes are rather smaller than other bike trouser sizes. Even there XXXL was still under 42 inch waist.

SteveR, which troos do you have? The light coloured ones? I'm actually looking for a pair of the dark troos as they'll not show the dirt the same, plus won't clash with my new sand/black jacket I just ordered!
If they don't fit you due to expansion would you sell them or are you just going to eat less pies for a while?
If so, what size are they mate?

AAAAAAAAArrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!! I'd have to go about looking like an extra from Daktari in my safari suit!
Or worse still, someone might mistake me for a BMW owner!
