Post Sidi Adventure Boots 10 months on

Just thought I would share this
Ok an update on the Sidi Adventure Boot
Got mine from Santa last Xmas.

They have been worn daily for commuting and also for the offroad sessions I have done.

10/10 for comfort and ease of putting on and taking off with the buckles.
10/10 for warmth through winter far far better than any other I have used.

    Now the downside....
I do polish them weekly and make sure they are relatively shiny (well they were expensive wern't they) infact they get more attention than the bikes do. As such they look like they will last for another couple of years

Sadly though the sole wears as quick as TKC tyres!
This is the left - which I put down mostly at a stop

    This is the pair

The straps and buckles are replaceable but the grip I assume not

Hi there Mr AckAckFlack, give these guy's a ring they will resole them for you. I use them to resole my Lowa work boots and they do a really good job £60. Thats a quarter of the price of a new pair. They are only at Chesterfield, and you can take them down or they do a postal service. Also I wouldnt use polish on any waterproof leather as it tends to dry out the leather cos of the wax content, try Renapour or Leder gris really great products.
    Cheers Tez

Thanks Tez for that. I am going to see what Sidi say first as they are still under 12 months old (yeh I know wear and tear)
The Feet First Shop are not that far away though so I will be able to drop them in.
    Once again cheers

    Shiny Boots, Shiny Mind !
Being an ex military man myself old habits die hard, I'm the same, I keep all my boots clean & tidy & shiny.
Good luck with Sidi, look forward to reading their answer.

Feet first are very good, I've used them for several pairs of rock shoes and one of heavy duty walking boots. I'd give em a ring before taking MX boots. I'm sure they can do it though.
