Could we maybe have something here on the Main forum page which would show us if anyone is in the chat room?

Hi Pete, we're talking about Chat a lot behind the scenes, and your suggestion is on the list of things to try and do.
As you're now up there with the users of xchat, just connect and hang out in there. You can greet people as they pop in

Hi LV - an update on your suggestion.
The more technically minded adminstrators are looking into this and how to make it work. You may have to be a little patient, as it could take a while to set up.
