Non-Trailie section??

I know we're a trailie forum with sections for all the honda trailies and even a section for non-Honda Trails bikes but quite often a thread in the chatter queries a non-trailie bike. So how about a non-trailie section?? I know that a high proportion of the members have other bikes beside trailies.

Re: Non-Trailie section??

I think there's a danger of overstretching and loosing the core focus of the forum.
My feeling is that the biketech sub forum can and does cover just about anything bike - electrical and mechanical - related regardless of the make or model.

We shouldnt try to be all things to all people - rather focus on and develop what we are - and aim to be the best at that.

I think it best to keep this as the trailie site, if we stetch too far afield we could end up with more wallies and spammers.

OK, but the comment about Bike tech only counts for technical posts so isn't relavent to most of the threads that find thier way into chatter about non-trails bikes in general. Anyway it was just a thought and was asked purely as a lot of members do have other bikes and as this turned into a social forum rather than a technical forum a long, long, long time ago

Hmmm, how many spammers last more than 5 minutes in here?? and as far as Wallies don;t insult the membership like that...they're nice wallies and not the bad sort!!!

Anyway I only made the comment as looking at the chatters history a non-trails bike forum would of had quite a few postings
