    Removal of other marques

I have to say that I feel it would be more beneficial to see Regional meets more prominant, and remove all the other marque bike threads I mean how many post on Moto Guzzi, Aprillia Cagiva etc. Pointless!!!!!!!!!
Even if you changed it to Italian makes Or European and other jap stuff

I agree I think we have gone OTT.

Whatever happens, I think the BMW and KTM forums need to stay put.

    Re: Removal of other marques

The other marques ( todays big word from Phil ) were put there at the request of forum members to stop clogging up the chatter forum. If we got rid of them how would it make the regional meets forum more prominent?

    They're not doing any harm

    Re: Removal of other marques

Well while looking regional meets seem to me to be a little bit at the top of meet up rideouts page and can easily be missed by other and newer members.
All the other marques are still pointless and should have an area to keep chatter free but not so bloody many of them!!

Phil, how about an bit of a swap around in the meetups thread, and the regional meets were the first thing you see and the other meetups were in the subsection which is currently regional meets?

and maybe changing the order of that section so the meetups and rideouts are higher in the listings which would make them a bit of a higher profile

    Re: Removal of other marques

As a Tiger rider I did not come here because there was a Triumph section in "other bikes". My reason was because as I had some dealings with Kitped I came for a wee look and decided that this place was very lively, informative (irrespective of what you ride) and populated with borderline nutcases who make me feel at home ,so doing away with the other bikes bit will make no odds to me.
