subscribing to threads

Is there a way of subscribing to a thread so it's in my user CP without actualy having to post?, I'm trying to keep on top of the TLD threads but don't want to chip in needlesly in order to suscribe?

If you go into user CP it lists your new subscribed threads. If you look at the bottom of the left hand column there's a subscribed threads title. click on that and it will list all the threads you're subscribed to.

Many thanks for that, but what I'm trying to do is add to that list without posting, for example there is currently a thread discussing the possible change to the start location for TLD, I want to be sure that I don't miss the outcome but feel that I have nothing constructive to add and that my post would be at best pointless

Yes click THREAD TOOLS (Drop down menu just right of the page on the blue bar just below the POST REPLY button) and there should be a SUBSCRIBE TO THREAD option
