Don't buy this section

Just an idea (I had when I was trying out a bottle of nikwax visor clean spray type rubbish)
I know and have used/contributed to the product review section, how about a 'don't waste your money on this tatt that promises the earth and couldn't deliver pizza' section.
I've tried a load of stuff over the years that I've been very disappointed with, and not always through my incompetance

Interesting concept. I we did it I could see it being a busy forum with a fair bit of controversy.

From a legal perspective I can also see it being a bit of a can of worms.

Wouldn't the ''normal'' review in the review section highlight all this. So if you put up your review of the Nikwax stuff, say it's crap don't waste your money, give it one star, bob's your uncle.

I can see peoples point of view, but the review section does seem dissappointingly sparce and I get the feeling (myself included) that people tend to post about things they have generally been impressed with.
A bad experience/ purchase is often brushed under the preverbial carpet (or out of the garage with the leaves) and some of the gambles (that is the bumf and price look too good to be missed) I've succumb to, I'd fear fiecre berratting for lack of common sense.

Wait until you read my review with pics of the oxford bike cover with the dust sheet inside... it's fallen to pieces after 3 years !!!!!
