Any way, some (newer) TTRs did really well on the Ryedale, so it could be an eyeopener of an event. Is a little bike really faster/easier than a big one? Especially on an event with lots of flat fire roady going, that favours some power!

    We shall see...

Now, who else is coming out to play in the forests?
    Chris,

where does it start from? I may be able to pop along and watch.

    cheers, Bob.

Went to watch the Hafre Rally today. Two hour ride from Bristol this morning, no traffic on the road in the early hours - absolute bliss .

Chris (Mudwiz) was riding on his TTR

and Chris's mate on a Honda Baja

    Fantastic.

judging from the state of his kit - Chris has been digging in the mud again

Anyone see a tall bloke with a Belgarda Yamaha TTR600 (Ohlins suspension etc, red white and black)?
It was me brother. Just wondering how he got on

Yeah, I spoke to him in the pits, I think he was about to go out for his second or third lap

can't read recent replies, the work filter won't let me!

Was a really good event, would have been possible on the ta, but hard at times. There was I think no honda twin entry, although Blez was on a Dominator.
It was fab to "cheat", trailer, change of clothes etc. Still camped in the car park, and to keep the side up, my mate Daz rode over on an XLR 250 baja, and raced.

Was ace to see Bob, we made up our time through the day and actually finished 3 mins early!

I had a bit of an off on the uphill after the mx circuit, gonna try and get to hospital later, i still can't raise my left arm. i was going really well to, but lap 2 stage 3 put paid to that. lost loads of time there, trying to turn the bike round etc. lack of left arm control put paid to all the specials on lap 3, but by loads of screaming i still managed to finish.

(thats why there are only bits of punctuation in this, 1 handed typing only!)
