I'm keen!!! I met up with Austin and Gerald Vince today and I'm totally sold on the idea. My buddy Billy Ward from bike Truck.com who took my bike down to Malaga earlier this year can offer a bike delivery solution for those not wanting to ride down or don't have time. He can take bikes down for a similar cost to what it will cost to take the ferry and then add up all the costs of fuel and accomodation on route bike wear and tear etc. It can make a lot of sense if you don't have the time. I'm keen on it. For those interested in arriving via easyjet whilst your bike gets sent down have a chat with Billy and tell him Jon sent ya. billy@biketruck.com

    Thumbs up Count me in!

I finally pulled my finger out and have signed up for this year's event. Will be teaming up with Ian again, but as it's a midweek affair will be taking the whole week off for a bit of Pyrenean trail bashing.

How many others will be there?

Thumbs up HUMM '08 pack arrives!

The map pack and checkpoint book arrived yesterday. 61 checks this year. I haven't plotted them out yet, but from the descriptions it looks trickier than last year. We've also moved a map to the south west, so new areas to explore!
It's not the age, it's the mileage...

Im going down with the girlfriend and 2 other couples....treating it as a bit of a trail riding holiday.
We are taking a big van and a trailer down with 6 bikes...(anyone aware of any deals on ferries etc?)
I suspect the girlies will quit after lunch and retire to the pool and let us rufty tufty chaps go and take on the big point scoring checks in the afternoon.
    Looking forward to it!

    This looks like the business!

I know it's late, but is anybody riding this?
If so, do you have space for one more?
If not, anybody fancy doing it?
