Right - that's me in too - I was half thinking of trying to get to Nordkapp for the longest day but theres sooooooooooooooooo much going on now I dont think that's gonna happen. So the longest day ride it is then - XRV squadron in flying formation - what a sight to behold

Crikey, I did'nt think that there would be this much interest for this topic. .

Hurrah the XRV'ers. .

I think that a sensible ride up to JOG is a good idea, the thought of 600+ miles on one day then 900 miles on the next can ( nearly did !!) put some people off joining in, on what , I hope, will be a superb event enjoyed by ALL.

This is serious stuff and on the day everyone will have to have their Sh*t together ( in a nice way ), trying to get from one end to the other is no joke, but it would be outrageously fanbleddytastic if the whole posse made it .

in that case im making sure ive got a spare fuel pump and rec reg seeing as im getting rid of the perfect bike for the job and giving myself a real challenge (terry wogan voice) slow and steady wins the day

I can't wait for it, love this type of challenge. I have a spare Kenwood TK3101 if anyone is wanting to borrow it for this, I assume others will be using radios too.

I'm just outside Leeds and if anyone wants to stopover on the route up it's not a problem, just get in touch.
