Don't try to get to all of them - my advice would be Surrender / Roys Rocks, CB Inn for a pint whilst the bikes are on the Grouse Moors, Grand Canyon, Stang, home.
You might need to get to the sections early to get a good position. At least on a bike, you will be able to park up close by. (Tip - take something to stop your side stand sinking on soft ground).
I have only missed the Scott twice since I was 6 years old in 1971. Once was my college graduation and the other was when it was cancelled due to foot and mouth outbreak.
In the last 25 years or so, I have been supporting my brother who was riding, so I did not see many sections, but tended to catch him at road crossings and petrol checks.
This year, he is not riding, so I will probably see a few more sections. As I will be travelling up from Wiltshire, I am not sure whether I will take my Transalp or just the car.
