English National Rally 2009

This is a great event, and there are shorter classes other than the 20hour rally for those with sensitive bottoms

This one is an annual ritual for me. Great fun with great group of riders. I've just completed the online entry for this one. Quick and simple I'm number 26

Is it just me or is there very little interest in the National Rally? I've done it a few times now and I think it is excellent - perfectly suited to these type of bikes.

Yep - just had the sit down to plan the route. We are heading North this year instead of West.

Yep, going to checkpoints I've not done before for a change. Starting at 11, up to 26, then down to 1 and in . Should be good. What bike are you on - I'll keep my eye out. Mines a black tranny plastered in various xrv, national rally and longest day stickers.

All done and dusted for another year. Great ride, great roads, I went to all new checkpoints this year just to vary things a bit. Awesome roads around South Yorkshire (Just a pity the local authorities chose to paint two speed cameras green to blend in with the shrubbery ) and Lincs. Can't remember everywhere I was, but the roads just about everywhere I went were fantastic. I did the minimum amount I could on main roads. Started at 2.04pm - finished at 7.59am - taking 3 hours in breaks.

We should think about entering fo the Team Platinum category next year and get a goup of us together from XRV.
