I just wheeled my two bikes out and handded them in this week. The shed looks empty without them.I hear talk of a use your own bike event but i really do think we have thrown the baby out with the bathwater this time. But we still have the ktm 250's up north and you never know.....

Unfortunately the MOD has removed funding for all motorbikes within the Forces with exceptions for certain hooligan groups. Unfortunatly for us that means that all of the 350 harleys will be pulled into a central location and either scrapped or sold off.

Ex Enduring Help has been a fantastic event for the past 12 years and I would hope it could carry on. It got cancelled this year as the notice for the call back of the bikes was to close to the event and would have caused major problems.

Maybe next year with a 'run what ya brung' type of event!!

    Re: Exercise enduring help

Just put a nice big cast sticker on my 2 last week, 2 bins full of spears as well,
Really enjoyed Enduring help last year,

Would of seen you then Transporter, i was there with the AT, Desperate to have a lap on it but dont think they would of liked that.

I was told originaly that some of the H/D's were going in to a pool, like whole fleet and if you required one you could get them that way but i guess not.

Not the best bike's but a good bit of fun.

Thats me 2nd from the right after my last 3 laps getting in in the last min, hard bloody work.

    Re: Exercise enduring help

Just had a look on the bafma site and just missed the entry date for this years Ex Hard Ride, another two day event, first day is a navigation exercise, around longmoor and local ares timed aswell I believe, then the following day it seems to be hare and hound, only problem being that you have to use your own bike, mind you that would be so much nicer getting across the sand bowl on an xr250r rather than an mt350
