i find the mitas C02 tyres rubbish overall, mainly the back one is s'#t on stones but over all not great and dont last that long. I find the ac10 a wicked tyre which grips well on most surfaces, has a good sidewall to dig you out and does last a while as well. just my thoughts

    ##### but yes back to subject..... crf 230......tyres.......mt21.......stuff like that....................
    everything is OK

I run metz 6 days on mine but have run a Mitas 120 on the rear and it was great very long lasting and very aggresive, people who bang on about tyres that dont last long arent riding crf230swith correct lube/tension i got 3 yrs out of the chainnever had any problems and mine also road legal ,best bike ive ever had,use a bettery tender on mine also ,still on same battery, change plug for winter/summer riding, done power up mods but left baffle in14 tooth front sprocket gives 70mph on road and gets to use all gears correctly off road, change oil every 600 miles ,clean air filter every month

Hmmmmmmm find it amazing when people say 70 mph and still geared ok off road. I rekon that must be its highest speed which wouldnt last long if holding the throttle on the stop before engine cried for help. My XR4 will get to 75/80 on a GPS and thats on the roady gearing I use but will still only cruise at 55/60, but for decent off road work the front sprocket needs knocking down 2 teeth

70mph is for top speed ,and no i wouldnt abuse my bike at that speed for long ,25mph off road is good for me but its the full range of gears that the 14 tooth gives you is the benefit
