CR85 Model year?

Hi, Can anyone tell us how to get the year for a Honda CR85?

I'm after some bits for it and the shops I've asked are unable to date it even though I can give them the chassis number

Does anyone know of a database I can search to find this out please? I can then order some bits for it

Shel - what kept you. You and I have had our fair share of Honda CRs. I just got rid of the manual which listed the letter codes.
