    crf450x road legal

    Hi all
Bit of confusion here, getting told conflicting informations from different dealers

The things is, i`m looking for a crf450X road legal... one dealer tells me they come in 2 different flavours.. "fully road registered" and just "registered", he says the "registered" one means for competition use only and can only be ridden to and from enduros on the main road...
while the "fully road registered" one can be ridden at any time but requires an inspection by a vosa centre....

then i spoke to another dealer that says he knows of no such thing and it just needs to be registered costing £60 or whatever, with no inspection needed by vosa and then you can ride it on the road anywhere and any time you like..
then just get its first mot after 3 years and make sure you get the speedo, horn, etc etc on it

anyone shed any light on this.. ?

    cheers

Sounds to me like they are saying one has a full MOT and the other motorcycle other only has a DAYTIME MOT which means it can only be road ridden between dawn and dusk and doesn't require headlights, only horn and brake light. 3 years would be correct for a brand new bike to get it's first mot.

I might not be correct though
