advice on an old CR125

hi. i was wondering if i could get some advice on a bike iv'e been offered.
Its a 95 Cr 125. and its got a problem with the water pump. I'm not sure exactly what the problem is. I believe theres 3 main parts to it. The shaft. the gear, and the impellor. I'm wondering if these parts are readily available, and where i would buy the parts from.

Also, is there any other damage that could have been caused from the damaged/ faulty water pump. what should i check for. Does it sound like a major headache or is this regarded as an easy fix.

Bung the part numbers into the parts search at David Silver Spares and that'll give you an idea of what's available and how much.

The likely damage will depend on what's wrong. If it's just the seal gone it's an easy fix. See if you can get more info. If the motor has overheated as a result of the pump issues, you could be in for a whole heap of trouble.
