    Todays Crosstourer test

Took a fully kitted out crosstourer today and I seriously want one!!!! This bike is absolutely superb!! It is without a doubt the best all rounder on the market - I loved the handling and engine of the 1050 tiger but this beats it hands down!!! GS owners - go and try one - its brilliant!

Ah yes, but can you mend it at the side of the road with a knife and fork?

What am I saying? It's a Honda, so you won't need to.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Totally agree mate, had a spin on one a couple of weeks ago and as soon as the damned Tiger comes back from Triumph (3 weeks and counting) I'll be having a word with Mr Honda,,,, if Mr BMW doesn't speak to me first, an F800GS would be a logical replacement for the 800 Tiger but after having a run on the Crosstourer I am seriously curious!

Nah I couldn't afford the astronomical servicing costs .
And it not re-starting every time it fell over

If money wasn't an object I could be tempted though

Well Chad, the way I see it, just as cheap to buy the Crosstourer as my main bike and keep my @T for scooting around rather than my @T as a scoot about bike with the Tiger backed up by the Mighty Varadero!
As for the Crosstourer not starting, wasn't that the auto one? I want a manual! My only reservatioon would be selling the Mighty Varadero, not an issue getting shot of the Tiger though

nice as the cross tourer will be to ride , i think ownership for those of us who do big miles might be a costly affair but i hope thats not the case as for the Vara as a real world bike its going to be a hard act to follow

its criminal with your tiger as i know so many who are really happy with theirs

im over the moon with my 955i its the best £1800 ive ever spent perhaps theres a bit to be said for sticking with the older models eh well thats what i tell the wife
