    Footpegs NX650 '94

    Hi there!

Since last monday I'm the proud owner of a 1994 Dommie with 54.000 kms on the clock. Although I should do some routine maintenance it seems the engine is kept in very good condition. I would like to use it 50/50 off-road/road so my plans are:

    - Crash bars
    - 50/50 Tyres (Heidenau K60 Scout)
    - Off-road footpegs

But the last ones are being quite difficult to find. Anybody has installed different footpegs than the standard ones to a NX650?. Are the any footpegs from other models that could fit on the Dominator?

    Thanks!

hello and welcome to the forum,
think you may struggle to find another pair of footrests to fit , take a look at the dominator footrests they are quite different to each other,
if your looking to increase the width/length then you can get these extension pieces that need to be welded on

Hi, thanks a lot for your fast answer!. Well, it's not a bad solution at all. Are they the same width?. Are there maybe any pics of them installed?

Haven't put too much into this statement, but anyone thought of screwing in snow tyre studs into the footrests.

I recommend these as a cheap alternative I have them fitted (welded) to my off road Dommie
I sourced a cheap set of footrests from evilbay took off the rubbers and kept them for spares , welded the extension pieces on (5 minute job) the footrest can easily accommodate my sze 10 boots standing up is now easy, comfortable and feels right

I think that's definitely the way to go!. I will order a pair and ask someone to weld them for me.

Thanks a lot for the advice guys!

hello and welcome. a local welding shop is making me a copy of the pegs sold on ebay. hopefully they will look ok. he's only charging me a packet of PG Tips,(he's spanish but he likes english tea), so its worth a shot. might be worth asking around.

    cheers,

    mark

Hey, indeed you are in Spain too!. Well, I live in Barcelona, what about you?. When you have them ready, would you mind to post some pictures?. Maybe I could have two pairs of footpegs, both normal and off-road.
