Hands off, if it's an 88-91, it's mine!

They hold 23 litres, but Acerbis stopped making them last year. Acerbis would put them back into production for an order of 100, but I couldn't get that many people together. Missed 2 on eBay so far this year (one in Spain, one in Austria) by being outbid at the last minute

88-91 holds 21 liter, the later models hold 23 liter.

(that is 21 and a bit, I could get almost 22 in except some of it sloshes out again through the filler cap as soon as you take off. )

Still, 21 liters give me a range of about 210 miles before hitting reserve, and I love it for that.

You could always do what i did and fit an xr650 l tank

Good luck with getting the 88-89 tank - i'm sure one will turn up and you will get it - i just couldnt wait.

BTW saw pics of your cases - they looked really good.

I may have copied your lead, but as I've just had the seat re-done, I couldn't face the tears before bedtime if it hadn't fitted together

Hi Ben, re: seat redone. Have you any idea where I can get a cover for my 95 Dommie? Would like black. Regards Clive in sunny Jersey. (where it is raining at the moment)
