Well that's definately it for another season Left it one ride late and it shows. Here in Norway the highways dept are pdq in salting the roads at the first sign of ice, and I'd ridden the following day when the roads were wet. Talk about a rust attack

So, tonight the pots came off, were degreased, washed and are now under the log oven drying off. I'll give em a going over with a fine flap disc on the week-end followed by hot-paint.

A lot of the screw heads have turned a bit brown too - so I might treat myself to a ss bolt set from e-bay - anybody got this ? What do you get ?

Oh yeah ...as a pick-me-up I just ordered Charley Boormans DVD "Race to Dakar" from Amazon...£12 incl. post - not bad. They're actually planning a "Long way down" sequel to "Long way round", but are skipping Norway and starting from John O'Groats What's all that about
