    ...so, i've just fallen off

    It was a bit silly really, cold road cold tyres, too much load on the front wheel, front washes out, foot gets stuck to the rear subframe so we dont exactly part company, all at about 15mph.
    Damage: Two smashed mirrors, slightly wonky steering and a grazed knee.
    Not a scratch on the body/paintwork, the footpeg is slightly more chamferred, apart from that. nothing
    Dommies are great at surviving crashes relativeely unscathed....just thought id let you know

    Indeed they are.

    The blinkers at the tail end get bent out of shape a bit, but they can take a lot of abuse.

    My latest attempt: This one could just be bent back, it still worked.


    Sounds like you came off pretty well then, no real personal damage that is.

    The bars have probably just twisted in the top mounting, but it may be wise to do a quick check of the alignment of the forks, if you put a mirror across the legs (get the gaiters out of the way first) then if you can rattle it back and forth they're out of alignment.
