    Kick start

Yiiihaaaa ! First time in two years I've managed to kick start After all the recent checking and what WHY, I turned her over three times without a whiff of a start. Kicked about six times with the choke open and BINGO......I love this bike

Starting a bike with a kickstart is, without doubt, one of the most satisfying things on the planet in my opinion....even more than cheese on toast with worcester sauce!!!

    and more........

There's a definitive knack to this (hey...my Sharona - the knack- how old is that now ?)....sometimes the kick ends with a full knee juddering stop, then other times she starts with the mildest of kicks - what a turn on...so to speak

The trick is to put it just on top of the compression stroke, and then let the kicker come back and give it a swift smooth kick. Problem is that the compression is harder to find if you don't have a manual valve lifter.
