What's the easy way to take the old gaskets away?
I use a new wood chisel to remove gasket material but you have to use it the right way or it will dig in try it first before you go mad with it

Can't find the spark plug anymore... Believe it was worn when I took it off and threw it away.

I also tried the end of a tooth brush that I sharpened, not bad.

You can buy spray cans of gasket remover, just spray it on and leave to work for a few minutes and then scrape away the softened gasket.
If there is some still remaining then repeat.
Wurth do a very good one called Décapant.
Be very careful using steel scrapers on thin and soft alloy cases, its easy to slip and damage the surface and end up with a leak.

Engine cases are closed, but there is still a 1mm play on the primary shaft. Like I have no washers left on my bench, I'm wondering if it's normal? Would it be fixed with the clutch on?

Well, thanks to you all, engine is back in the frame. BUT no oil is coming at the head... I pushed the starter button more than 3 minutes, in several times of course, tried with an air gun to put the frame tank under pressure. Oil filter is full of oil. Thanks for your help.

Did you take the pump apart ?

Did you prime the pump with oil ?

Loosen the banjo bolt above the oil filter to check for oil flow.

Yes I took the oil pump apart. I built the oil pump in a pan full of oil, so I believe it's full of oil, but I didn't really prime it like making it turn with some oil getting through. The banjo is loosen on the cylinder head, and still waiting to see some flow out from there.

You need to prime it before fitting it. As per the manual..You most likely have an airlock. You might get lucky and it will eventually clear with plenty of compressed air and lots of cranking... But i hope your cams are oiled up if you're going to be doing that.

Or you have assembled the oil pump incorrectly..

I also took my pump apart during the rebuild of my AT, I forgot to prime it but I was lucky as after a short while of crancking the low oil press light went off and I had oil coming to the heads. As I understand it from googling (so probably not the most reliable source), priming is not really nessecary most of the times. Are you sure you rebuild it correctly?
