so what year ???

Hi

My dommie is an import and as such the log book shows it as a 2000 model BUT after trying to order some bits it appears it not the right year.

The TYPE number on the frame plate is RD08 can anybody advise the suspected correct year.

RD08 is 1995 and later.

Doesn't the type plate have a year on it? Mine does...

I have the honda electronic parts lists here if i have the full frame number it should tell me the year model exactly but i would not send my frame number to a stranger or put it on a public forum.If you want pm the complete frame number, or text it too 0 7 9 7 4 6 9 2 8 4 0

I thought mine was an 89. It was advertised such, and it even states 89 as the first year of registration on the documentation. After taking the seat off I noticed a label stating NX650J, and as far as I'm now aware the suffix denotes the year i.e J=88, K=89, L=90 and so on (don't know if there's an O though )....

Could be just some parts that have been recycled, either as standard in the factory, or afterwards...

There's lots of parts on the bike that weren't made in 1989, or even for the dommie.

i had a CB1000 BIG ONE a few years jap market bike i phoned honda for info thay asked eng&frame no;s told me it was not a UK bike and hung up
i phoned back thay refused to talk on the matter i bot a honda dose it matter where it was
