A bit more on getting the snorkel out of the airbox: On the RD02 at least it looks like you can't get the entire snorkel out without breaking the seal on the air filter. Is this different on the RD08?

    My snorkel looks like this...

Uhm dunnow, I have not done it on my bike but got the tip from an other forum.

It looks like the rubber piece of crap can simply removed from the airbox on a FMX?

Full excaust sr racing , k&n , piston jr , ekentroforo=cam i believe is the translation, dynojet stage 2.
The honda mechanic did that .
The fmx is now hot , actually is not fmx any more, it goes quic to 5500 rpm and then gives you again another kick until 7500 rpm cause of the cam.........
The only bad thing is that , the brakes now seem litle........

    Re: FMX 650 Tuning

Just got an FMX650, like the bike but its a bit too quite for me, looking for an aftermarket exhaust system cheap,
But no luck all I can find are £500 plus. thats nearly half what the bike is worth.

Anyone point me in the right direction for something cheap or should I just sell the bike and put the money towards a KTM or something.

    Thanks

hi futter, did you use the xr barrel also or just use the xr wiseco piston?i know the standard bore and stroke are different in each motor so did this have any effect.i would be grateful for any details.regards ian.
