FMX650 wheels into Dommie, help.

Hello folks Im new to your forum and would apprieciate your help, Does anyone know if FMX650 supermoto wheels will drop straight into my 1992 dommie or do I need to make a few conversions to the fitting, Im no stranger to the spanner or big thumpers but dont want to spend big cash if there is big complications, Many Thanks for your help. Was thinking the same thing. Saw some on ebay and got me thinking. The bike is pretty much the same as ours, though less powerful and the frame is the same as is the rear swinging arm from the looks of it. I'd say the rear wheel will fit but you'd need to see if the front spindle is the same diameter. The rear end looks identical to our Dommies just a wider rim.

The frame is not the same actually.

The FMX frame might be the same as the SLR and Vigor (not sure) but definitely different from the NX.

(No clue about the wheels fitting or not)

As the engine is almost the same, I kinda meant that the frame "was the same", not identical if you get my meaning. As the engine is the same width and the mounting points must be nearly the same I took it that the swing arm would be the same width, at mounting. Swing arm looks very similar too, check part numbers for spindles of both bikes and see if the same part, or measure the thread of FMX spindle toget an idea. I'd bet that rear wheel would fit, if I had the money I'd have bought the FMX wheels off ebay.
