    Lightbulb camshaft confusion

i am the proud owner of an fmx 650 but it is a bit under powerd. i have been told this is because of the cam shaft. can anyone tell me if the cam from a dominator or an xr650L can be fitted as a replacement. i have already changed the exhaust, headers, air filter and had the jets and needle changed in the carb.
