    Front wheel nuts ?

    Hi all
Got a new Front tyre the other day , and the 4 nuts that hold the axle on are quite rounded off.
Anyone had to replace theirs ? I'm thinking Nylocks or something , any idea on what size they are , metric ?
Any idea on a part number ?

    thanks

Now why would they be rounded off when they only require a little tweak (12Nm i believe...) .......unless they were tightened with toe nail clippers

Yeah , they are in pretty bad shape
I used the spanner in my tool box on the bike , and it was a chore to get them undone. I just want to make sure I can get it off on the side of the road.

New ones are needed , so if they are just 6mm nuts , I'll try and get some Nylocks.

But , I do need a torque wrench...

Nah! just nip 'em up hand tight There is no real stress on these nuts as the screw in spindle is doing the work.
