    Fmx Luggage Rack

Have any of you guys fitted the luggage rack to the fmx? I am thinking of fitting one to mine. I know they arent very big but are they strong enough to take a 2 man tent (4 kilos max). I would also like to know how easy they are to fit. All info will be greatfully recieved.

I don't have a rack, but looking in the manual it mentions no more than 9kg of luggage

I don't know if that means strapped to the seat.

The weight limits for the FMX are all a bit low if you ask me. A max of 189kg (thats rider, pillion and luggage).

I weigh 13st without my bike gear on (thats 85kg + bike gear)
add pillion of the same weight and you get to approx 170 + 2 sets of bike gear!

thanks for the info mate. i know what you mean about about the weight limits. if i want to carry a pillion as well as luggage i will struggle unless my pillion weighs about 4 stone wet through as i am 104 kilos.
looks like it could mean a rear shock upgrade.

Mine came with a rack, easy enough to fit, just longer bolts with spacers, definately strong enough to take weight of tent

    Cheers Woody

Fitted the HONDA rack ,not able to take much weight but I think it tidies up the rear end. Seem strong enough to take more than Honda ( spose Health and safety had somthing to do with it ) say it should.
