Will XR650L CDI unit fit a Dominator ?

I am having trouble with my 2001 Y reg Dominator and have found the problem is the CDI unit. Honda want £315 for a new one which i think is a bit expensive. There is a shop on ebay that sells a performance CDI unit for £75 that will fit the XR650L which i believe is the same engine as the Domie. Would be gratefull for any info. Or if anyone got one for sale please let me know.

David Silver Spares at http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/c...i/Catalogue.pl have one for an earlier dommie for £59. I'm not sure how much they have changed over the years but maybe it'll work?

Hi if you are still after a cdi i have just broken a dominator and have the cdi not sure what year it was but it had kick and electrik if that helps
