    Broken bones..

Hi, some advice please. I have recently brought a NX650 dominator. Pretty much on my maden voyage, I was riding round a corner on a gravel road, 2nd gear +-1500rpm when the motor cut, the back wheel slipped out, no big stress but the bike crushed my foot as we fell. Bummer.. .
The bike has a tendancy to cut out when idling so I have screwed the idle screw up to run at 2000.. Any helpfull hints to stop the engine cuts??

Ok, after looking througt the forums I see there is a lot about these bikes cutting out.. With mine, I was going slow and the back wheel locked up. I didnt have time to grab the clutch. I guess you must always be ready for anything.

1500 rpm is pretty much idle, if you're in second gear doing 1500 rpm you're asking for it to cut out really...

Big thumpers generally don't like it too much below 3000 rpm. The dommie is pretty gentle and can go a bit below that, but I'd still keep it above 2500 if you expect anything from the engine.
