Help New front brake rotor is needed

I am leaving on a 9 day trip on my 89 NX 650 and need to replace the front rotor before I go. The EBC website has a part number but the dealers listed have not been helpful. I had the second wrong rotor mailed to me today.
I am posting a pic of the bike loaded with wolfman bags. Pretty much how it's going to be loaded.
Thanks, Thor

Red face Re: Help New front brake rotor is needed

Thanks for the part number. I am working it as we speak. These bikes are not common over here and you would think I wanted parts for a 1948 Studebaker. From the EBC site, that looks like an NX only part.
Take care, Thor

Installed the rotor and pads last night...rode it today. That was the right part number and it fit perfectly. I still need to put on the new tires I got today and then it is all ready for the "Tour de Humptulips" on Saturday. Woo hoo do I need a vacation and some riding time.

Re: Help New front brake rotor is needed

I have just returned from my 9 day trip and posted some photos of it. The NX not only never missed a tick it gave up nothing to the other bikes on the way. I put it on a timber scale up past Forks Washington and it came in at 440 pounds with gear and fuel. Add another 200 for me in my riding gear. I got just over 50 MPG and had a blast. The Wolfman gear worked great and we had every thing inside dry bags and that was a good idea in the rain forest. We put in one day that had 120 miles of driving rain...buckets of it.
Take care, Thor
