XBR to Dommi

I need a front sprocket cover for my dommi, will the cover from an XBR fit?

So no one knows then I assume by the overwhelming response...... maybe someone out there in Honda land will know of a decent breakers that deals with Honda bikes.

Calm down Kevin,I don't know if that particular part will fit the Dommi engine,they look similar in shape,take a look at the photo .

Well for starters the gear pattern will be the other way up The engine casings are the same and even the gearbox parts are interchangeable, but my worry would be fitment around the frame rails. I'm pretty confident it will bolt on OK but wonder if it might look out of place against the frame. Got both motors here, but sadly the XBR is missing the sprocket cover to try it on the Dommie and as it's out of a frame (and completely stripped) offering up the Dommie one wouldn't prove too much.
If your searching for a cover why not search for a Dommie one?

The thinking behind my question is that I have no cover at all, and would rather have the wrong XBR cover fitted, untill I can locate the real deal. I have phoned all the usual suspects, and trawled the international auction sites, but nothing has turned up.

Nice article, I think that was Ron Gibson from CMM magazine. Very popular mod for the XBR is the Dommie motor swap, but I'm keeping mine 500cc
