    Scottoiler

    I Recently acquired a scottoiler and am intending to fit it to my SLR i was just wondering if anyone else had alredy done this witha SLR , Dommie, Vigor?
    Where did you take the vacuum form and any other tips you may have please

    Yes thoroughly recommended.
    A quick daily check for wetness and your done

    I check occasionally for slack and wear etc...but not often as you'll notice from the pictures on this thread

    cheers wonder if the SLR has the same vacuum tube cos there is a little electronic thing on the carb there on the slr

    Alternative is the pro-oiler i fitted to my transalp ..no vacuum needed.
    Runs on revolutions and electric controller. very neat. ref. transalp forum.

    I have a loobman fitted to my RD250 very simple squeeze the bottle an go. and a lubetronic on my RD400 gravity feed electric valve to control flow wired to the lights a si ride with the lights on all the time, but the Scottoiler was new in the local paper for a very good price as the owner bought a few yeas back when he had a ducati and never fitted it he sold the ducrapi and bought a Guzzi, shaft drive no chains
