Hi all and help please, dominator!

Hi to everyone, just got myself a 95 dominator last night and have a issue.
Im thinking the clutch has just gone im hoping, but would like some reassurance before the spanners come out.
The clutch was over adjusted, not enough free play at lever end and i noticed it was slipping, so sorted that then.
Pulling back to home after a run, 50 meters away from home and i give it some, and it just cut out, so i fired it back up and it still sounded sweet, but i can pull the lever in and engage the gears but when i let the lever out it just sits there, nothing.???
Also when checking the oil the people what had it before a garage, had serviced it and they must have only put a liter of oil in it ive topped it up now but they cant have run it thru when they changed the old oil!!!
Please dont say take it back neither as it was a sold as seen basis, gutted.
Other than that in the 40 or so miles ive rode it i was well impressed.
Any advice would be appreiciated, cheers Martin

Clutch sounds the place to start. Not to hard a job so don't panic yet.
As for the oil, run the bike unright for 10mins, switch off then dip the oil. Don't be suprised to find they do burn a bit.
Have to keep checking mine for leaks as I never see anything from the exhaust.

Thanks for the reply, it was the drive chain what had snapped!!!!
Luckily no other damage. Got oil at right level now, just hope that has not done any damage with only having a litre in?
    Cheers Martin
