I have read threads on here about camshaft noise but always thought my noise was piston slap. I notice when changing the oil that wehn its just been filled I have no noise for about 1 min. My conclusion is that the oil is running back down the cam housing breather pipe and givine extra lube the cam and keeping it quiet. So my question is what is it that makes the noise on these cams as they seem to be quiet well built.
