Vigor Lock

Does anyone know whatU lock will fit the FX650 Vigor?

There are provisions for one in the rear rack, and I would like one that fits as it will make it much easier to carry...

It says in the bikes user manual that some U locks will fit, some wont.
Thats about it...

Has anyone actually used the rear rack to carry their U lock?

might have to go and ask around at the local bike shops...

It's for one that Honda sold. The same rack was on 600 Transalps and my Abus D lock wouldn't fit.

There's a moulding for a lock under the seat on the 650 TA, so Honda still sell them and they should be the same size as suits yours if common sense prevails....

just found this seems there are 2 or 3 different locks but all fitting under the seat which one then?,
cannot get a brochure earlier than 2005 on that site for u locks though

Hmm...I will have to go to local Honda dealer and have a chat to them...

And I dont know about the common sense of Honda...they change things for no good reason :P

I was just really hoping I could get a nice strong U lock from abus or krytonite, etc that would fit the Vigor rear rack...
Would make it easy to carry, rather than trying to work out where else it could live...

I have also emailed Honda UK to ask them if they know.
Will see what their reply is.
