Hi,
My 1999 Dommie started rattling in the top end and so I removed the rocker box cover to discover that the left exhaust rocker had worn badly. Not a problem as a replacement can be obtained. Unfortunately in the process of removing the cover 2 of the bolts snapped. This is, apparently, quite usual. I then had to remove the head. Again not a problem, however my mate with his workshop facilities was going to drill out the 2 studs for me as I don't have a workshop or a pillar drill. Anyway the long and the short of it is he decided to use an eazi-out (against his better judgment and after a discussion on the subject) and the inevitable happened and the thing has snapped off in the stud.
Has anybody got any sensible suggestions on how to extract the remains without totally destroying an otherwise serviceable head? HELP!!!!
Mike
