Does anyone know if the older and newer model front forks differ in any way?
My domi lowers are in good condition but I have better uppers in the shed from an older bike.

My domi lowers are in good condition but I have better uppers in the shed from an older bike.

All domi stanchions and associated parts are the same,...The only difference between old and later forks are no external fixing lugs for the plastic guards on later model lower legs, and no oil drain plug bolt.

Took mine apart on sunday, jeez does old fork oil stink. painted the tubes last night. have to get some new slide bushings as i wasted one while separating the upper and lower on one side

Thanks Jeff, just what I wanted to here.

You're not wrong about the oil, doesn't smell that nice to start with. Not as bad as car gear oil though.
