    Re: Loud enough?

Out with the misses today and pleased to say the speedo’s pretty good. At 30 mine was reading 31, at 40, 41 and at 70 mine was at 68. So the speedo drive from Domi to FMX are def more different than just the spindle hole.

Now the sprockets. Def a bit to tall but at 80 mph the revs sit bang on 5000rpm, still pulled but not much good for over-takes. 90 in 4th was easy. Looks like a 14 on the front is on the cards, more for the “chugging”. Anything below 3500 in 5th gear is horrible. 30mph has to be 3rd gear. I noticed this chugging getting worse on the other domi when I changed the standard rear wheel for the fmx. The sprockets then were 16/42.

FMX forks. Loads firmer, loads less drive when on the brakes which improved as we were out. Was thinking of fitting different pads but won’t bother now. Only bad thing here is I noticed the rubber brake pipe touching the wheel when on the brakes which has worn a good bit of rubber away. Tie wrap saves the day. New pipe on the way as we type. Well pleased with the forks though, just got to get use to them.

Still got to finish off a few things like the left hand front fairing sticker, any ideas anyone?

Fitted the fmx rear caliper today, only coz it's gold.
If you zoom in a bit you'll see where the exhaust burned the edge of the side fairing. Should have checked that.
Done the red line on the rear wheel.
Still waiting for the 14 tooth sprocket and front brake line.

    That's it I'm going for a ride.

Don't like the look of them myself but it's to usefull not to have fitted. I'll take it off for the next pic.

Yes switch still got the stickers to sort but they're not bothering me as much as the blue smoke from the exhaust for a while after start up. Think I pushed it a little to hard on run in.
Got the brake line sorted but still waiting for the front sprocket. I feel another email to Wemoto on the cards.

Do paint the passenger pegs, too, please. By the way, you wouldn't happen to have a full set of footrests around, would you?

    Re: Loud enough?

Top boxes are just an ugly way of upsetting a bike's handling...
    BAD aerodynamics in crosswinds.
Put any weight in and the centre of gravity of the bike is lifted way high and far back.
    Hate the things.
