I got the carb out after many curses, put it back in and reconnected everything but I can't seem to reassemble the throttle theres this piece of white plastic( I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN PICS B4 I TOOK IT ALL APART) that I cant seem to put back where it should be I'm totally baffled and pissed off because the weather here is better than its been all year and I cant get out on the bikeplease can anyone help me out with advice all replies greatly appeciated
ps I have a manual but theres nothing on it about the throttle..

Thanks lads yes it was item 15, unbelievable as it sounds late last night in a drunken stupor I figured out where item 15 fitted into the throttle housing and it only took 3 days, at least I'l know next time, I love my bike but is there a more difficult machine to take the carb out of ! even cleaning the plug was an operation a bomb disposal expert wud be shaking his head at, anyway thanks again lads for the replies

Yes there is a more difficult bike to take the carbs off...

    Honda CB500....

    Firstly drain the cooling system
you then have to remove the seat (lifts off via lock)
then remove the 2 side panels
then remove the 2 radiator shrouds
    then remove the fuel tank
then remove the hoses to the carb
    remove choke assembly
    then loosen the carb clamps
and then wiggle the airbox backwards and wiggle the carbs out...

writing it down makes it sound easier than it is...its quite a fiddly job...:S
