    SLR650 Front Mudguard

Hi everyone, the fender extender on my front mudguard snapped off about 5000 miles ago and i have already had the bike cut out on me in the wet due to water spraying up at the HT cap.

Does anyone know where i can get either another fender extender from, or a whole new mudguard if possible? When the extender snapped off, it left 3 big nasty hole in the mudguard.

I was thinking about putting a SM style mudguard on, but then i'll have the same problem of water spraying at the HT cap.

    Cheers,
    Rob

Is it possible to cut up an empty drink bottle and cable tie it to shield the HT cap from spray ?

2 suggestions 1 get a piece of black plastic,(piece of old 5 gallon oil drum) and make another extenda and make it too cover the damaged part of your muddie. or new vigor front muddie only £15 +postage you will need to remove wheel adn old mudguard and attattach the steel bracket from the old muddie too the new one, i have even extended the one on my vigor cos i keep getting water over me feet

Put some vaseline in the plug cap...

Thats what I was told to do on a 125 I had that kept stalling due to water spraying at the plug...

I didnt think it would work....but it did....
