Lakes Camping this weekend?

I know this post is probably in the wrong place, but does anyone fancy camping in the Lakes this weekend? Arriving at Langdale, pitching the tent at about 3pm ish .... then off to ride the passes, and back for some beer. A leisurely jaunt back on Sunday, with a detour through the Yorkshire Dales! Camping is only a fiver for the night at Chapel Stile campsite, and they are bike group friendly. Myself and the Dommie were there last weekend.

Fantastic place stayed there many moons ago

2foot of snow and camping, coldest Feb on record sometime in the early eighties even got some ice climbing in


Shortly afterwards my parents moved up so no need for camping any more, Enjoy your stay

nice offer, but i'm off to walk the mountains around Glencoe and visit the lost valley.

Having to go in the car though .

Can't fit 3 people, 3 rucksacks, 3 pairs of walking boots and 3 suitcases on an fmx no matter how i arrange them

(May be over the FMX's recommended 9kg luggage capacity as well)

You could always get a small trailer for your FMX :P

and give the other 2 people their hiking boots and tell them to walk there :P
