i was looking into this also and local bike shop game me the number of an upholsterer that they use. Saw some of his work, reasonably priced and excellent quality. My point is check out an upholsterer in your area
Give Stanbloke a shout he had his KTM adv re done with gel and its fab. A dommie seat could do with some gel![]()
Hi Richie, I had trouble finding a cover for my Dommie so took the seat to an upholsterer (Ciaran Molloy here in Jersey) He returned the seat to me looking like new. In fact it looks like it was sprayed on, Brilliant!! He stretched it repeatedly by warming it in the sun and then stapled it home. Like new all for £30. He's my new best friend now. Regards Clive in sunny Jersey.
Come on Merv, I lived for a while in Exmouth and sure it did warm up now and then. Coming to Devon soon as I am going to Glastonbury in a camper van and then trucking around for a few days in the west country so will report back on the weather. By the way just been to France on my other bike (Harley Low Rider) what a hoot cruising around enjoying the ambiance. Any road up good luck with the seat. Regards CLIVE.
