    Re: SLR valve clearance

    If they're the same as a domi (RD02);

    inlet 0.10mm (0.004 in)
    Exhaust 0.12mm (0.005 in)
    08 TDM900,
    98 Dominator,
    84 XL600lm,
    82 XL500r.

    Re: SLR valve clearance

SLR clearances are 0.10 for inlet and exhaust according to my workshop manual
but dont forget the decompressor will hold the right exhaust valve down, so you need to wind the engine anti clockwise to the T mrtk on the flywheel viewed through the hole in the flywheel cover to stop this

    Re: SLR valve clearance

I'll ask about the valve clearances in this thread as well... (twice as likely to get a reply :P)

What are the valve clearances on the FX650?

And are the valves shim over bucket, shim under bucket, or thread adjusted?

    ta in advance.

    Re: SLR valve clearance

The FX650 Vigor (not the FMX)

I did wonder if they would be the same as the SLR seeing the FX was an updated SLR, but then again, that would be logical :P

Screw type adjusters...thats good new :P

    Shims are expensive :S
