Unhappy Oil pipes

Hi,
Finally got all the bits I need to rebuild the Dominator. I now discover that the oil pipes that the shop had made up for me won't fit. The return pipe is slightly too long and has the braided section bulging and I am not too happy about leaving it like that. The feed pipe is the wrong shape in that when the engine side is located the other end is pointing in totally the wrong direction and there is no way I am going to force it into the right place as a) there is no room to move down there and b) it will probably kink the inner, which is probably the reason I was not getting oil before.

Have any of you guys bought new oil pipes for your Domies? If so where did you get them and approx cost?

Ride safe

Re: Oil pipes

I've only ever replaced the feed pipe on the xl600 with another Honda pipe so I'm also interested to see if there are other suppliers out there.

Re: Oil pipes

I ordered a pair from Dave Silver. Just over £28 + VAT each + Postage. They are on special order as they are not held in stock. Don't know yet how long they will take to come. Wemoto were not able to help.
