    dominator whats it like with pillion

    hello every one i have a 600ta at the moment but find it to heavy for offroad and a bit hard to wheelie but it is really good for my girlfriend she loves it on the back i am thinking of getin a dommi as its better off road but whats it like for a pillion does it still pull well we go touring on the ta aswell not around the world sort of touring just like 150 mile ish trips here and there with the tent is the dommi up for the job it will also have to be my every day bike aswell as i am a 365 day biker thanks alot any info will be every helpfull thanks alot

    A Dommie will take a pillion on a long trip under protest only

    I love my NX's to bits but wouldn't bring the other half touring on it.It would b a pain.There great one up with tents and stuf

    the girl friend is only small im not that big aswell plus i would like to tune the dommi aswell i cant affort two bikes so the dommi will have to do was thinking about puting a transalp seat on the dommi has the ta has a pillion perch with a no slip seat cover should be ok what you think thanks

    Ive taken my dommie off road two up and its ok, but its no good (in my opinion) to be used both on and off road all the time.

    For longer trips its not all that comfy two up.

    You need the ta for road use and the domi for more off road imo.

    most of my pillion work is only around the loacal area shoping and stuff like tha we only go touring twice a year so i think the domminator should be ok i will make some ajustment to seat to make it as comfy as i can i found a pic of a dommi with cool pannier can any one tell me what make they are thanks

    Tuning the Dominator is not a cheap option.

    If you want your TA to be better for off roading and pulling wheelies, you could put a bigger rear sprocket or smaller front sprocket..

    Higher revs for given speed, but more torque....

    Or spend some money on tuning :P
