hello im new on this forum,i live in dorset, i own a g reg nx 650, ive had 125s and bigger bikes,bandits etc, but needed a work hack,when i was riding it,she was on 2000 revs on tick over,, so i turned it down, to about 1400,as to low on 1000? or is it,,,, she sneezes and cuts out,when shes cold or warm? on tick over, its bugging me,

she rides like a twin, pop pop, is that normall,, ta dave

set it between 1500/1600 as a start,thats normal 4 nx's

ta mate, still does it, the guy recons hes done the carbs, and about a year ago, i think the heads been done, as the seals look newist,,,? blooming thing,,

right, i might be of line soon,as mooving, but i might get on now and then, any help will be greatfull, as im also looking for lots of parts, rear light,or lense.. rear rack, tank,,,or if cheap anoth the whole panals, in black or wat ever colour,,,,as this girl needs a dam good make over, but first things first, engine and running gear, then mph clocks,,,, thanks

My dommys only happy at around 1500 revs. As for the cough, a few on this forum have had a result by making sure the choke cable is seated correctly in the lever end socket, if not the choke remains slighlty on and makes the mixture too rich.

ta for that i took carb of last night, cleaned tank, checked the air pipes, checked the main rubber to engine to carb, fine, but it still does it, im going to hit it with a hammer, thatll do it, or by a dr

Have you checked the air filter?

yep done that,nice and clean, i might put a k n n filter on iy, to see wats going on,,,i know it needs a oil service, but that shouldnt do that, blooming thing,
