    Re: unwanted fmxs

I recently put my 07 FMX on the market for £2500 ono, expecting to get about £2300 (the bike cost me £3500 new) . In the end I decided to keep it another year, maybe getting a V-strom next year. I had a reasonable amount of interest and could have sold it (after I decided to keep it).

Parkers suggests about £2300 for an 07 so an 08 would be about £2500. You'll probably get more interest if you put it on at £2700 ono - if it's mint it should sell.

Strangely enough, I seem to be getting offered £2200 trade-in for mine at the moment, more than it was last year. Most dealers have been very keen to take it as a trade-in - good condition, low mileage Hondas apparently "sell themselves"!

Must have been high mileage or in poor condition - I was offered more than this (cash) for my 07 from a local dealer.

No it was tidy, I almost bought it for a run round. Not wanting to stir tings just a comment. The XTZ660 are similar, they do not make much secondhand either.

This will cheer you up Blinx, mines an 05 FMX and i paid £2200 for it, it has a low mileage but bloody cammy, it did come with a Remus fitted though, i agree you should hold on and just get your use out of the bike. Best Wishes - metamorph67
